Part I Vocab:

Part III: Sudan

Part IV: Rwanda

1.     Hutu and Tutsi.  Hutu
2.     Dutch told them so when they were in control of Rwanda
3.     Hutu President of Rwanda after the Dutch left.  Economy started have troubles – he was blamed
4.     Tutsi Leader – May have orchestrated the explosion of Habyarimana’s plane over Kigali.
5.     Explosion caused a major genocide of Tutsi’s by Hutus.
6.     Were threatened with their own death if they refused to participate.
7.     3 UN peacekeepers were violently attacked and killed.
8.     Report came out that French may have trained Hutus to carry out the genocide in order to maintain Rwanda as a French leaning country rather than an English leaning one.
